Liberia: Campaign Violence - Weah Team Accuses Rob Sirleaf of Attack

Monrovia — Just three days before Liberians head to the polls in a controversial Senatorial elections' pre-election violence has once again hit the PHP Community, the stronghold of Independent Senatorial candidate Robert Sirleaf, son of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.

It all began shortly after 1:PM local time when purported supporters of Mr. Sirleaf, wearing his campaign T-Shirts began throwing stones and vandalizing vehicles belonging to Mr. Sirleaf's main rival, football legend George Manneh Weah and one of his supporters, Rep. Edwin Melvin Snowe(Independent 6th District, Montserrado County).
