Zambia: Police Beat Youths Over Sata Comments

A joint team of Zambian police (paramilitary) and Zambia Army (Military) police today violently beat up a group of call boys in front of the Woodlands Shopping Mall bus stop for allegedly speculating about President Michael Sata's health.

The call boys were chatting among themselves, saying the president's absence from the public since may has sent a lot of alarms around the country that he was sick and dying. The call boys also complained that after campaigning for Michael Sata and the PF they have not got any fruits from their hard work on the campaigns.
