Liberia: Over 5, 000 Receive Illegal Water Supply - --LWSC Managing Director Reveals

The Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation, (LWSC), Charles Allen, has revealed that over 5, 000,00 residents are receiving illegal water supply in the country.

Noting LWSC's data, he revealed that there are 11, 000 customers but out of the total numbers only 6, 000 are duly registered and have paid for their sewer service charge while the rest continue to engage into illegal activities. Mr. Allen added that the institution is making frantic effort to stabilize the operation of water and sewer services and they are going to focus on the customers' data base.
