Liberia: Gongloe Opposes Oil Blocks Sale

A human rights lawyer and former Labor Minister of Liberia, Cllr. Tiawon Gongloe has opposed the sale of the remaining four oil blocks in Liberia.

Commenting on reports that the Legislature is considering the sale of blocks 6, 7, 16, and 17 which led to a protest in Monrovia recently, he mentioned that he is not surprise at such news, because the government wants to deplete all of the resources in the country.
