Tunisia: Creation of 'Arab Council for Defence of Revolutions and Democracy' Announced in Tunis

Tunis — The creation of an "Arab Council for the Defence of Revolutions and Democracy" was announced on Saturday at the seat of the Congress for the Republic (CpR) party in Tunis, along with the establishment of its founding committee.

The latter includes, in particular, Yemeni human rights activist and 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkul Karman, the founder of Egyptian "Ghad El-Thawra" Party Aymen Nour and Secretary General of the CpR Imed Daimi.
