Western Sahara: Uruguay First Lady Calls for End to Suffering of Saharawi People

Montevideo — The member of the House of Representatives (the Senate) and the First Lady of Uruguay, Lucia Topolanshe,stressed the need of supporting the Saharawi question for ending the suffering of the Sahrawi people during her meeting with Saharawi delegation led by the Secretary General of Sahrawi Wome, Fatma Elmehdi.

The Saharawi official who took part in the seminar of the Progressive Alliance in Montevideo, met with most of the members led by Lucie Topolanshe and informed them of the latest developments of the question of Western Sahara, including serious human rights violations against Saharawi people perpetrated by Morocco in the occupied parts of Western Sahara.
