Nigeria: Orange, Emmaüs Launch Mobile Phone Recycling Facility in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire

As part of its commitment to encouraging recycling of mobile devices Orange has partnered with Emmaüs International to set up a recycling facility in Abidjan.

The Abidjan recycling centre, the fifth mobile collection facility to be set up in Africa, was inaugurated this week in the presence of the Ivoirian Minister for the Environment, Urban Cleanliness and Sustainable Development, Mr Kouadio Remi ALLA and the CEO of the Orange Côte d'Ivoire Télécom Group, represented by Mr Joseph PITAH, Director of Networks and Information Systems.
