Eritrea: Administration of Awenjeli Area Called for Upgrading of Educational and Potable Water Supply Facilities

Hagaz — The Administration of Awenjeli area, Hagaz sub-zone, has called for the upgrading of the available educational and potable water supply facilities in connection with increased settlements resulting from the community's resort to community-based style of living.

Mr. Ibrahim Jimi'e, Administrator of the area, pointed out that the putting in place of the potable water supply facility in 2006 could make positive impact as regards improving the livelihood of the inhabitants, and that an immediate initiative needs to be taken so as to meet the growing demand for water.
