Somalia: Al-Shabaab Claims Responsibility for Killing Lawmaker in Mogadishu, Second in 24 Hours

Al-Shabaab claimed credit for the killing of a Somali lawmaker shot dead near his home in Mogadishu's Dharkenley district on Tuesday (April 22nd).

Abdiasis Isaak Mursal, secretary of the Somali parliament's natural resources committee, was on his way to parliament when armed men shot him several times in the head, making him the second lawmaker assassinated in Mogadishu in less than 24 hours.
