Angola: National Assembly Speaker Highlights Chad's Interventionist Role

Luanda — The Speaker of the Angolan National Assembly (Parliament), Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, last Tuesday in Luanda highlighted the role of Chad in international relations, particularly in Africa, with emphasis on that central African country's active participation in peace-keeping operations in the Central African Republic.

Speaking at a solemn parliamentary session, organised in honour of Chadian President, Idriss Déby Itno, the National Assembly Speaker said that Angola has been following with interest the dynamic that Chad has been putting into the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS).
