The Djiboutian government signed a $3.8 million (684 million franc) agreement with the World Bank on Sunday (April 13th) to support the government's Access to Quality Education project, which aims to boost the quality and capacity of Djibouti's education system.
"I am very pleased that the government of Djibouti remains focused on the right of every child to quality education and to the human capital which will help its economy grow in years to come," said World Bank Regional Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa Inger Andersen.
